Nothing quite says Christmas like coming in from the cold to the smell of warming spices on the stove. Whether you’re entertaining this year or not, this mulled cider recipe is perfect to warm the cockles on those cold winter nights.
You can even make up batches in advance, and simply pop it back on the hob when your guests are due to arrive. Or heat up a cup or two after a hectic shopping trip.
If you have any apples left from your autumn harvest, they make a lovely garnish for this Christmas tipple. And if you like yours with a little extra kick then you can always add a splash of spiced rum.
