Highgrove: The Garden Celebrated will be Highgrove’s first ever garden festival and will feature the nation’s best-loved gardeners and horticultural experts across events and presentations during six days.

This unique event will be held at the Royal Gardens in Highgrove from 11 to 16 April 2016. I’ll be there on Wednesday 13 April for two special appearances!

1:15pm – Sensory Gardening Talk

Come on a journey to explore the garden through sensory interaction. Discover how to make your garden a haven for the senses with plants and features to appeal to smell, taste, sight, sound and touch.

This talk will open up a sensory world and help you fully appreciate the magic of nature.

The day will begin with a one-hour tour of the gardens and a quintessential afternoon tea, followed by the talk and a Q&A session at the end.

Discover all the expert tips and tricks I have learnt from my years presenting garden makeover television shows. Plus I’ll be revealing my secrets from building flower show gardens at Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace.

This talk will bring you my top ten ideas to transform your own garden in the space of a weekend. It’s a practical and inspiring guide to instant impact gardening.

The day will begin with a one-hour tour of the gardens and a quintessential afternoon tea, followed by the talk and a Q&A session at the end.

Highgrove’s The Garden Celebrated festival will capture the essence and ethos from one of the most creatively inspired gardens of our time. It will epitomise the horticultural interests and enthusiasms of His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales.

Every day will feature appearances and talks by highly acclaimed horticulturists and gardening personalities. Have a look at Highgrove’s website to find out the full schedule.

Plus the festival will celebrate everything about Highgrove with a spring plant fair inspired by the garden’s plant collections. The displays will echo the garden’s most iconic areas in spring. It will feature Highgrove’s famous topiary, Cottage Garden, Stumpery, Wildflower Meadow and Kitchen Garden.

And check out the retail pavilion, featuring a selection of plant exhibitors chosen by Highgrove.

Highgrove is situated southwest of Tetbury, off the A433. However, parking for each event will vary. Please check your tickets carefully for directions and parking information.
