The car-themed garden from the fourth episode of Love Your Garden was truly special. I love creating gardens that have plenty of character. After all, it’s your space and it should reflect you.
Alan Rendall is a car and motorbike enthusiast and he wanted a space for relaxing and spending time with his family.
This is what the garden looked like when we arrived:
And this is finished garden after the makeover!
We used curves to widen the long space and make it feel more open. These were shaped with flexible aluminium edging.
I loved the car features, from the cool car bonnet seat to the printed murals.
We also used chrome raised beds and exhaust pipe planters and water features. Plus we decorated the fences with hub caps!
The garden had soft, woodland planting with plenty of texture and bright pops of colour.
Plus the seating area was truly relaxing.
We loved doing this garden makeover because it was so full of personality.

Love watching , wish my garden could be done . Have spondulitus of the lower spine and crepitus of the neck so it kills me after a while . Plus the hours I work doesn’t help. Ah well I can dream can’t I
